KERRY PASLAWSKI, Diploma Watershed Management, C.Tech,

President and COO

Kerry Paslawski is the founder, owner and operator of Timberoot Environmental Inc (TEI).  He has been operating TEI since 2001 and has a total of 30 years’ experience in environmental technology.  He has managed all field aspects of environmental projects including hydrology, soil, groundwater, surface water and air sampling and remediation.

In the hydrology world, Kerry consults primarily to B.C. Hydro, in conjunction with AENV to conduct river ice surveys, freeze-up and break-up observations and data collection on the Peace River.  This multi-faceted project involves the installation and maintenance of remotely operated permanent water level gauges, groundwater surveys, remote camera installations, and shallow water ice profilers. New studies are implemented each year in which Mr. Paslawski is involved in devising new sampling techniques and instruments. Prior to starting TEI, Kerry worked as a hydrology technician for the federal government in Yukon Territory where he gained vast experience. Kerry has received recognition as an important partner in this field by CRIPE and also was recognized for Outstanding Contribution in Data Collection in River Ice Science and Engineering in 2017.

Kerry also has many years experience conducting environmental soil, water and air investigations in the Upstream and Downstream Oil and Gas sector.  This work has included all aspects of site investigations including Phase I, Phase II and Phase III investigations.  Mr. Paslawski has been specifically hired to manage large excavations where experience is critical to the project success.  These projects are generally contaminated sites which require an in depth understanding of ground disturbance activities around above ground and buried facilities.  Kerry’s expertise is often called upon by different organizations where the need for field training of inexperienced Junior Technicians is necessary.

Kerry is a certified pilot of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (Drones) – Advanced Operations.  This designation allows him to conduct aerial photography for commercial clients following strict guidelines enforced by Transport Canada.  He has a registered DJI Phantom 4 ready to go to work.

With Kerry’s years of experience in the environmental field and alliances with other professionals we are sure you will not be disappointed in your decision to hire Timberoot Environmental Inc.
